Change you surname to that of your partner. your certificate of partnership will provide suitable evidence of this. No deed poll is required
Change your name by Deed Poll to a totally new name.
join both partners surnames to create a double barrelled surname. A deed poll is required for this
You can choose to take your partners name or vice versa, You can also choose to have a new name completely. Many couples join the two surnames up to create a double barrelled name.
It does not matter what name you choose as long as the name meets the requirements that all applicants have to meet. This includes the non use of vulgar or abusive names. Please see our section about names.
We can arrange for your deed poll to be issued in time for the ceremony so that you can sign the deed poll as part of the proceedings..
