A Deed Poll is a declaration of a change of a legal name. It is prepared to document that a change of name has taken place and that the named person will abandon all usage of their former name or names.

The term "Deed Poll" is expressed as "Deed Of Change Of Name".

A Deed Poll for a Change Of Name must contain three declarations. One you execute your deed poll (signed & Sealed) you are legally committed to:

  • Abandoning or no longer using your former name / names

  • Using your NEW name only at all times

  • requiring that all persons and otherwise to address you by only your new name.
